War Thunder features a complex and detailed 'skill tree' type library of planes for each playable country. Planes throughout each country's library are all marked with a tier, from 1 through
Generally the best planes BR for BR are things like CW-21, He-100, 109E7 (Japan), F4U1A, P-51C, P-39N, J2M2, PM-1, XP-50, and all the other stuff that's like blatantly broken for the BR. If I had to go rank by rank with 1 plane per rank I'd probably go CW-21 P-39N XP-50 Yak-9U Su-11 F5C MiG-21SMT F-16 MLU
Sweden is by far the fastest nation to get to tier V aircraft with, since the tree is the smallest and there are excellent aircraft throughout tiers I-IV. The matchmaking is also fairly decent for Sweden. I made an alt account with Swedish aircraft to rush tier V and get the 3k eagles from the referral link. Unlocking tier V took me 25 arcade
The drawback of a low wing loading is typically a lower top speed, as a lightly-loaded wing has more surface area which creates more parasitic drag. Other planes have high wing loading, which has exactly the opposite effects. Poor low-speed turn performance, high energy loss in turns, but higher top speeds.
The P-36 series is one of the fastest planes in Tier I, and which mostly upgrades its armament from one model to the next. Despite a roll rate that locks up at high speeds, the plane does turn fairly well, and you can dogfight some other monoplanes successfully. The F3F is one of the best biplanes in the game, some would even argue the best.
However, it still remains a potent war machine. It is the only fighter jet in the world to score more than 100 air-to-air kills and experience no air-to-air losses. It has also been continuously upgraded, with its new variants featuring the most advanced technologies. The F-15EX Eagle II, developed by Boeing, is the latest variant of the jet.

The best: Ki-100-II - This plane has everything, no flaws A6M5 KO - A bargain, low BR with a wide level grind range A7M1 - Almost perfect F4U - Think I have a 5kd with this so ya. Good Fun: J2M5 30mm - with the tracer belts no convergence, patience 190A5 - cause 4x20mm is always fun. Meh:
Image via War Thunder Wiki. The BF109-G2 is a well-suited plane to learn how to dogfight in. It climbs altitudes nicely, retains energy well, and turns accurately. Considered as more of a 'jack
